Cheryl Ann Silver (Schnebly)

Born April 5, 1969 – Went to Heaven May 7, 2017 after a long, courageous fight with Diabetes. Cheryl was a beautiful girl, loving wife to Bryan and the best mom ever to her children; Stephon and Ella.

Cheryl had many adventures in her life. She spent a few years teaching the Marchallee’s children in the Marchall Islands. We all loved to hear stories. She went on to become a paralegal. Cheryl was a Lake Stevens Aquafest volunteer for the past 12 years. Cheryl was truly an amazing person who will be missed by all that had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

From the time we met in middle school through our journey as young adults overseas in the Marshall Islands, you were my partner in adventure. I have only the happiest memories filled with unspeakable joy and lots and lots of laughter. Whether situations were easy or difficult you always persevered with spunk and determination. The Cheryl I knew selflessly and always put others before herself. She was a friend to all she met winning them over with her welcoming smile, caring heart, and contagious personality. I was blessed beyond measure to have you as a friend. My heart and thoughts are with your dear family. You touched so many lives. You will be missed.

I was thinking of Cheryl and my Cheryl and the summers that they went to work in the strawberry fields. Cheryl knew the best bus to take and the bus drivers were all friends with her. There was a group of friends that worked together in the summer. They had many strawberry fights in the fields and no one made any money to speak of. Sometimes I would get a call to pick them up somewhere because they had been kicked off the bus. I can picture Cheryl and her blond hair covered with berries and she would be laughing and laughing. Both Cheryls went to Cedar Springs Camp together and also to the Marshall Islands. Cherly also was a little mother to Angie and Gina and took such great care of them. Sometimes her strength in difficult situations amazed me. Love to you Cheryl!
