Bruce Barton Bailey

6/4/1940 – 5/21/2019

A life-long resident of Seattle, Bruce was known for his exceptional creativity which he employed on his own and with others in varied business pursuits, some of which included magazine publishing, commercial and residential interior design, real estate investment and rehab, and development of corporate identity, advertising campaigns and materials. His favorite occupation, however, was as a volunteer in Christian ministry, serving the College group at University Presbyterian Church. Bruce was an accomplished tennis player and spent countless hours on the courts at lower Woodland Park. He is survived by his wife Gayolin and two daughters, Hilary Burnett (Scott) and Camille Nasin (Shean) and their children and grand children. His last days were spent at Harbour Pointe Senior Living Memory Care where he and his family received immeasurable kindness.

I knew Bruce as his physician for many years. He always was a man with a warm heart and expansive sense of humor. His anecdotes were interesting and revealing at the same time. His love of tennis was legendary and his level of fitness was excellent. He was so fortunate to have found a life partner to share his love with and to help with his needs later in life. I will miss this man but he will not be forgotten.
