This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Victoria Lynn Anderson (Jensen). We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our sweet mother, Victoria Lynn Anderson (Jensen), who left our weary world on June 28, 2022 at 5:11 am, just a few weeks shy of her 67th birthday. She chose, of course, another auspicious day to make her heavenly entrance. June 28 is the date of her dear parents' wedding anniversary. Vicki was born July 14, 1955 in Burbank, California. She was the fourth child and second daughter to be born to parents Richard Dwain Anderson and Marjorie Ann Rotz. Three more sisters would complete this generation of the Anderson Family. Her close friendship with her sisters Donna and Margaret would earn them the nickname "The Power of Three." Their presence always guaranteed a load of love and laughter. Vicki is survived by her three beautiful children, Adam, Kimberly, and Nicholas, along with their spouses and children. Her absence is mourned by her more than thirty nieces and nephews, even more great-nieces and nephews, her husband and step-daughter, and countless friends. She was surrounded by many of her loved ones when she lost her 8-month battle with aggressive metastatic breast cancer. Our sweet mother had a great love for reading and a thirst for knowledge. She was one who could find humor in anything, even in her most troubled times. She learned early that she could lift herself by lifting others. When she was first diagnosed, she would insist on wearing silly hats to all her chemotherapy appointments, hoping to bring a smile to the other patients. She often gave to those in need, even if it meant leaving herself with nothing. She was a fierce mother and a loyal friend. Her gracious example will be sorely missed. It was never Vicki's intention to be mourned. She would not wish for us to weep, but to remember the happiness she shared with us throughout her life. As we joyfully reminisce about her life, we know our beautiful swan is rejoicing, too. Vicki's Celebration of Life will take on Saturday, August 20th, at 12:00pm. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 7526 Alder Avenue Fontana, CA 92336 In lieu of sending flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity or to someone in need. Thank you everyone for all your love and support! "So I'll sing Hallelujah! You were an angel in the shape of my mom. When I fell down you'd be here holding me up. Spread your wings as you go, and when God took you back, he said 'Hallelujah, you're home." - Ed Sheeran "Supermarket Flowers"
