Pedro Maltos Pedro Maltos passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 8, 2017. He was born March 2, 1924, to Guadalupe Munoz and Luis Maltos in Edinburg, Texas. He moved to Washington with his family in 1947. Pedro was a very devoted father-grandfather to all his children. In early years he worked as a farm worker, he worked hard and at times he went without to support his 12 children and wife, regardless of the circumstances, he always put his family first. He loved the farm country and was his own veterinarian by nature. He loved it all, anything to do with the farm, whether it was the crops, farming, or animals, he took pride in his acquired knowledge. Our dad was very proud of his family, always showing his love for all who knew him. He told the best stories you have ever heard. In 1970 he went to work for the city of Everett and retired in 1990. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Antonia Ramirez Maltos, five sons, Miguel Maltos, George Maltos, Jerry R. Maltos, Pedro Jr. Maltos, and Felipe Maltos, one daughter, Ernestine Pastores, two sisters, Alicia Castillejos, and Juliet Baldoz and one brother, Luis Jr. Maltos. He is survived by three daughters, (Lillie) Oralia Sanchez, (Molly) Amalia Herrera (Ruben), and Maria Mejia (Rogelio)and one son, Luis Maltos (Myrna); six sisters Dian Ortiz (Ray) Mary Delgado (Ceasar), Emma Yzaguirre, Theresa, Eva Briones (Santos), Angelica Davila (David); 90 grand children up to six generations. He will be deeply missed, he is our Papa forever, and will be forever in our hearts.We will always love you dad. Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, 12:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Solie Funeral Home, 3301 Colby Ave., Everett, WA 98201. His services will be held Friday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. at Solie with funeral to follow.
