Minnie Lee Capers 1943-2017

Minnie Lee Capers was born to Nehemiah Miller and Carrie Lee Young on November 7, 1943, in Robinsonville, MS. Minnie met the man of her dreams, Emerson. G. Capers, Sr. in 1964. They were married ed for 37 years until his death in 2001. To this union they were blessed with four children: Emerson G. Capers, Jr., Allison, Vanessa, and Adrienne. Emerson, Sr. was blessed with a job at Boeing and moved the family to Everett, WA, in 1967. Minnie worked at Frontier formerly Verizon, formerly GTE for 25 years until she retired. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, Nehemiah and Carrie Miller, her husband, Emerson G. Capers, Sr., her daughter, Adrienne Capers, her brothers, Nehemiah, Jr. and Robert, and nephew, Nehemiah Aaron. Minnie leaves behind her son, Emerson, Jr., daughters, Allison and Vanessa, grandchildren, Katelyn, D'Marcus, Brieanna, Kevin, Sydney, great grandchildren, Layla, Azaria Madison, Kayden and Elijah; her siblings, Joash (Irma), James (Laura), Jonathan (Laura), Melvin (Debbie), Marion Coleman, and Linda (Antonio) Williams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and good family friends.
