Leanne was a "Hash Harrier." Leanne was known as "shady lady," because she would seek out shelter from the tropical heat in the Cook Islands. In later years, they spent vacations in Hawaii, Victoria, and the Southwest. While living in Langley, Leanne became involved in the Daughters of Norway Ester Moe Lodge #39. Leanne enjoyed preparing crafts for the annual Nordic Fest.
