Frances Casey 1931-2017

Frances Margaret Casey, a longtime resident of Everett, WA, passed away on December 13th surrounded by her family. Born in 1931 in Iona, MN to Francis and Margaret Casey, Frances ('Fran') was a devout Catholic and long-term parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers; Dr. Jack Casey and Robert Casey and two of her sisters; Rosemary Casey and Bernadette Myhra. She is survived by her youngest sister, Patricia Reeves. Frances graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1949. She attended the State School of Science (Wahpeton, ND) in 1951 and St. Cloud School of Nursing, MN in 1954. She worked in Minnesota and Colorado before settling in Seattle in 1967 where she dedicated herself to a 39-year nursing career at the Polyclinic. She retired in 2006 at the age of 75. In her golden years, Fran enjoyed traveling the world, playing bridge with friends and spending time with family, especially her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
