Donald B. Van

Donald B Van passed away May 16 th , 2018 in Everett, Washington. He was born to Melvin and Edna Van in September 1925 in Geddes, South Dakota. He moved from South Dakota to Washington State in 1950 and worked in the Plywood Mfg. as sales and General Manager for many years. He was a member of the Christina Reformed Church for his entire life and had served as Deacon and Elder in several of the churches. Donald was preceded in death by his parents - Melvin and Edna Van, his first wife Margaret Einfeld, brother-in-law Lloyd Voshel and sister Neysa Voshel. He is survived by his wife Elaine Van, sons - Robert Van, Harvey Van(Kathy) Grandchildren - Warren Van, Charles Van, Jennifer Albackten(Ethan), Michael Van(Jennifer), Suzanne Billings(Josh) Great-Grandchildren - Carleigh and Brody Van, Hudson Albackten, Lily Bellings, Elliot Albackten Step-Sons - David Geerdes(Beverly), Eric Geerdes(Tricia) Step-Grandchildren - Katie Linderman(Aaron), Sarah Geerdes, Philip Geerdes, Richard Geerdes(Valerie), LisaDeBlauw(Garret), Emma DeBlauw and Theo DeBlauw. Donations may be made to the new Building Fund for the Cascade Christian Reformed Church where the Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday May 18, 2018.
