BETTINA LUCRETIA (SCOTT) HENSON April 12, 1931 - January 23, 2019 Betty passed away peacefully in Kirkland Washington last week at age 87. A graduate of Bothell high school (1949), She lived in Bothell until about 1950, Redmond (1952-1966), Spokane (1966-2017) and Kirkland. Somehow, she still found time to break up our spats, raise us to adults and love us all. All of her grandchildren felt they were special in Gramma's heart. Betty supported Public Television and the local performing arts, such as the Spokane Symphony. She was a lifetime gardener, raising roses and other flowers as well as vegetables for the table. The vegetable garden spawned many charter members among her grandchildren into the Beanie Weenie Club. Services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday February 2, 2019 at Solie Funeral Home in Everett. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM February 4, 2019 that Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations to Public Television or the Spokane Symphony in Bettina Henson's name will be appreciated.
